| Situated in a small , classified medieval village, this 19th century chateau, surrounded by a hectare of land, was feeling neglected. Now, after 2 and a half years of renovation, the building has regained its former health and beauty. The old parquets, the handsome cement floors and the fireplaces have been restored. Behind iron gates and at the end of a carriageway hides an authentic jewel. The private visit commences with the entrance hall where the stone floor starts and continues throughout the reception rooms on the first floor. The drawing rooms feature antique woodwork, some lightened, some stripped, and flow one to another matching the movements of the net curtains at the large windows. An authentic, superb stone staircase winds to the second floor. Each of the 4 bedrooms on the floor has its own en-suite bathroom, 9 other bedrooms are just waiting to be created on the last floor. A complete guest suite can be found on the second floor. The housekeepers' home has been completely renovated. The stables await their turn for renovation. At dusk, a mature armagnac will delight us. At dawn, a game of tennis may tempt us, or perhaps a stroll in a cool parkland. Life at this chateau is peaceful. Family and friends are both welcome at this magical place.
